The Congress fired back at AAP leader Bhagwant Mann, asserting that AAP might be remembered as the party found in Tihar jail. Responding to Mann's 'Ek Thi Congress' remark, former Delhi MP Sandeep Dikshit criticized AAP's reliability as an ally and questioned whether Congress and AAP, part of the INDIA bloc, would align for the 2024 general elections in Punjab and Delhi.

Sandeep Dikshit, highlighting AAP's leaders' incarceration over the liquor policy scam, questioned the party's credibility and remarked, "Tell me which party has 40% of its leadership in jail, and the rest are ready to go?" This exchange comes amidst reported reluctance from state Congress leaders to form an alliance with AAP, despite both being part of the INDIA bloc.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann took a swipe at the Congress, stating that the party had become history in Delhi and Punjab, emphasizing the rivalry and differences between AAP and Congress in these regions.
